TMS Bladesmithing Competition 2025-26

We participated in a bladesmithing competition which included forging, grinding, heat treating, and polishing a xiphos-style sword. We also conducted heat treatment and metallographic studies of samples of our chosen steel to highlight microstructural changes. This project culminated in a technical report, video, and poster.

ASM Domesday 2019

We were tasked with creating a geodesic dome that was low weight, low cost, and high strength. We had one team of 4 people compete at MS&T19 with a dome created out of concrete.
